Pennra

Personal budgeting, made simple.

Now on iPhone · Testing on Android

Pennra is live on iPhone, and the Android version is almost ready. We could use a few people to try it before we launch. Track your spending, plan your paychecks, and watch your money grow, all in one simple place that doesn't cost a fortune.

The Pennra Home screen on a phone
A small favor from us

Have an Android phone? We'd love your help.

The Android version of Pennra is close, but before we put it on Google Play, Jen and I want real people to use it and tell us where it still feels rough. You do not need to be technical. Just try it a few times and tell us what you think.

1

Use your Google Play email

That is the email we need to add you to the private test.

2

We'll send the install link

Once you are added, we will email the private Google Play link and a few simple things to try.

3

Kick the tires for two weeks

Use Pennra a few times and tell us anything that feels confusing, broken, or surprisingly good.

Thanks for helping us get this right.
Julian and Jen

Want to help us test it?

It is free, you can use made-up balances, and Pennra will never ask for your bank login.

We will only use your email for the Android test and Pennra launch updates.

What we promise you

The things we refuse to compromise on

We started Pennra because we were tired of money apps that felt like they were working against us. So here is what we will never do.

No bank logins

We never ask for your bank password. You add what you want, and you stay in control.

No ads, ever

No banners, no sponsored anything. The app works for you, not for advertisers.

Your data stays yours

We will never sell your information. It is encrypted and tied to your account, full stop.

It follows you everywhere

Your budget syncs across your devices, and with your household if you want it to.

Six parts of Pennra we use ourselves, every single day.

From the two of us

Why we're building Pennra

Hi, I'm Julian. My wife Jen and I spent a long time hunting for a budgeting app we actually liked, and we never found it. The good ones cost more than we wanted to pay just to see our own money, and the rest did not fit the way the two of us think.

So we stopped looking and started building the one we wanted. Pennra gets made at our kitchen table, on late nights, with a lot of Jen's honest feedback, for people like us who just want a simple, fair way to stay on top of their money.

Thank you for being here this early. It really does mean a lot to us.

Good questions

Things you might be wondering

Is Pennra out yet?

Yes. Pennra is live on the App Store for iPhone, and the private Android test is open now. Request a tester invitation using the Google account connected to your Android phone.

How much does it cost?

Pennra is free to download and comes with a 14-day free trial. After that, Pennra Premium is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year. We started Pennra because most budgeting apps cost too much, so keeping it affordable is the whole point.

Is my financial data safe?

Yes. Pennra never asks for your bank logins, shows no ads, and never sells your data. Your information is encrypted in transit and tied to your account. You can read the full Privacy Policy any time.

Do I have to connect my bank?

No. Pennra does not link to your bank or ask for bank credentials. You decide what to add, which is exactly how we wanted it for ourselves.

Is it on iPhone and Android?

Pennra is on the App Store now for iPhone, and its private Android test is open. Your budget can sync between platforms. Join the Android test to help us prepare it for launch.
